Year Five have been getting very creative in their science lessons, using Oreos to create the eight phases of the moon! Before this, they'd been learning all about the Moon's orbit around the earth and why the Moon's shape appears to change throughout the month. From a waxing crescent to a waning gibbous, the children used Oreos to depict each phase, which lasted about 10 minutes before being eaten!
