As part of their Pets topic, Year One welcomed Geraldine from the Blue Cross who came in to talk to them about the work that they do to help pets that need some extra love and care. The children also raised a fabulous £55 for Geraldine to take back to the Bromsgrove Blue Cross Centre and she was overwhelmed by how brilliant the children were. In her email to Miss Ward, she said, "They had some really good comments, questions and answers too - really sensible and intelligent. I was blown away by them. You can be very proud of Year 1!"
