In Nursery, children were learning the story of Hansel and Gretel and had to hide out in their mud kitchen to escape the witch! Year One created their own Tinga Tinga Tale storyboard while Year Two turned their fairy tales into comic strips. Year Three challenged themselves to write a 100 word story based on the tale of The Three Golden Flowers which is harder than you might think! Year Four used Roald Dahl’s Revolting Rhymes to perform some alternative traditional tales while Year Five wrote their own twisted tales. Year Six sneakily combined today’s theme with tomorrow’s ‘Watch It Wednesday’, as they watched and rewrote the tale of Le Petit Cordonnier.
