Bewdley Museum
Year 4 had a wonderful time at Bewdley Museum to delve deeper into their Second World War topic. They experimented with artefacts related to air raids and took a trip down the air raid shelter. They learned what it was like to be a child during this time including what it would have been like to be evacuated, looking at packing and the dreaded selection process, as well as looking at some wartime toys and playing with them in Jubilee gardens. We also discovered that we have some talented rug makers when the children were taught how to make a rag rug out of old bits of clothing.
