We ask parents to practise phonics at home every day with their child, and provide a pack of information to support them to do this.  We also ask parents to read at home with their child every day.  Mrs Tench provides a pack of maths activities and ideas to help support progress in mathematics.  In addition, from time to time, we ask individual or groups of children to complete a piece of homework when we feel it would be beneficial.
