Linsay Mayman
I joined the board of governors as a Parent Governor in 2019 when my eldest son started school at Bewdley Primary. As soon as the opportunity presented itself, I knew that I wanted to be able to contribute towards the high standards maintained by the school, to provide the best education and care possible for all children who attend BPS.
I have two sons. We love spending time together as a family, playing outdoors and going for lots of bike rides.
My job as a Paramedic has taught me to communicate with people on many different levels and I know the importance of good listening skills. I believe in a holistic approach to education that integrates the emotional, social and ethical needs of children as well as their academic needs.
I am a link governor for Key Stage 1 and also the link governor for More Able, Gifted and Talented. I regularly attend both curriculum and operational meetings and receive reports on many aspects across school life. My aim is to contribute in a positive way towards decisions that benefit the greatest number of pupils most effectively.
